A major cyber spying operation has been unearthed. The operation involves about 1295 computers in 103 countries. These computers belong to government embassies, agencies and individuals. The most scary part of this story is that the people who had taken over the computers were able to control even the video and audio recording equipment on these computers.

The BBC exposed how easy it is to obtain malware and deploy them on unsuspecting users’ computers. They also showed how these computers could then be used to launch a DoS attack against a website. This has now resulted in a controversy. There is now a bunch of people outraged at the fact that the BBC showed how it is done. They are even saying that what the BBC did was even illegal.

For a long time, Apple has promoted Mac OS as being more secure than Windows OS. With Apple products becoming the definition of “cool” and more people using them, the hackers have not been too far away. The number of exploits against Macs have increased exponentially.
